Working closely with Karen Braitmayer, FAIA at Studio Pacifica (prime) and Peggy Martinez with Creative Inclusion, MxM is part of an Accessibility + Inclusion trio helping this global technology company advance their goals for accessibility and inclusion to be fully infused in their campuses, sites, and buildings, from place of arrival to an employee or visitor’s destination.

In addition, the team provides valuable feedback to assist with developing internal design standards and training, providing inclusion every step of the way from planning through implementation. This often builds on local lessons learned to influence global design needs and recognizes the various challenges that come with addressing accessibility at a global scale. Rather than checking an ADA code box, the team works together to integrate inclusive thinking in the vision of how a person experiences a space and works to train others—designers, maintenance teams, real estate brokers, and project managers—to think about providing a variety of ways someone can engage with a place, so they have choices and feel empowered by the world around them.
