Our story
Our built environment and our civic environment seem to be on parallel tracks. From crumbling sidewalks to crumbling institutions, it can feel like our collective faith in a shared, durable, and reciprocal civic enterprise is an anachronism.
Brice Maryman and Scott Melbourne formed MxM Landscape Architecture in 2021 to serve thoughtful, forward-thinking public and private sector change agents who refuse to accept the status quo. By creating built landscapes that promote community joy, ecological resiliency, and fiscal productivity, the MxM team works optimistically to confront cynical trends and make vicious cycles virtuous: helping clients courageously give vision and form to their deeply-held values.
