Renton’s Tri-Park site presents both significant opportunities and challenges. The diverse parcels collectively encompass substantial acreage, complemented by extensive riverfront access. However, the I-405 freeway divides the northern parcels, while the southern area currently has restricted access.

MxM was tasked with developing a comprehensive vision for Tri-Park, which is informed by extensive community engagement and designed to maximize the site’s untapped potential. The riverfront walkway enhances water access while establishing a central gathering area. A new pedestrian bridge strengthens connections between the parcels and serves as an iconic focal point. Also, new multi-sport fields are complemented by enhanced existing facilities to better meet the evolving needs of the community. This effort was conducted in conjunction with the PROS plan spearheaded by BERK.
