The central location of Veterans Memorial Park in Bonney Lake offers exceptional accessibility for residents, facilitating the integration of existing and new community resources to establish a critical mass of supported activities.

The design strategy optimizes the site’s existing topographic conditions, seamlessly connecting smaller planes from previous developments to create a cohesive and dynamic whole. Mature trees have been incorporated into the scheme, providing much-needed shade and contributing to a sense of movement as visitors explore the park.

An existing community garden at the site’s center will be retained and expanded. Additionally, other program facilities and site elements will be included, such as a new community/senior center, playground, spray park and restrooms, central plaza, dog park, relocated veterans memorial, surface parking, and various other green park spaces.
